The Slifer Report - 2016 Annual Market Review

To help keep you well informed in this ever changing marketplace, The Slifer Report offers a comprehensive look into market performance in each of our unique mountain communities: Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Dillon, Frisco, Keystone and Silverthorne.

With residential and land sales volume surpassing the $1 billion mark for the second year in a row, 2016 was a year of conservative growth for Summit County Real Estate. Year-over-year growth in sales volume slightly outpaced growth in transactions, pushing values upward. County-wide, average sales price rose 2.5%, averaging $563,580 per sale. Gains were seen in average sales price across all communities, in most market segments including single-family homes, multi-family homes and homesites. Falling inventory is likely a factor in rising values, as availability of properties for sale continues on a downward trend.
