INAUGURAL BROKERAGE BATTLE DUCK RACE CHALLENGE RAISES $14,000 FOR THE SUMMIT FOUNDATION

The SSF office dog ‘Ollie’ was spotted selling ducks outside of the Slifer Smith & Frampton 211 N. Main Street office in Breckenridge.

The Summit Foundation’s 28th Annual Great Rubber Duck Race took place on September 5th. On this day, 11,253 yellow rubber ducks made their way down the Blue River in Breckenridge, all in an effort to raise money for The Summit Foundation in their largest fundraiser of the year.
Earlier in the summer, The Summit Foundation asked the real estate brokerage community to unite in a philanthropic way and sell rubber ducks for the race out of their offices. Thus, the Brokerage Battle Duck Race Challenge was established and each participating brokerage was given a goal of raising $5,000 in duck sales.
Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate is proud to announce that its brokers, staff and clients came together and reached their $5,000 goal! It was not only a great for us to give back to the community we live in and love, but we had a blast being part of this fun Summit County tradition.
Last week, Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate and other participating brokerages presented The Summit Foundation with a check for $14,000. All of the funds raised will go directly to helping improve quality of life in our mountain communities.
