Get Fit for the Season! Train for the Trail - May 5-28, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:45-7:45 pm. Are you looking to improve on your trail running series times this year? Community Health and Fitness Fair - May 9, 11 am-4 pm at the Breckenridge Recreation Center. Free. Presentations, informational booths, demonstration classes and more! Call the Recreation Center for more info.

Tons of Trucks - Saturday, May 30, 10 am-12 pm. A FREE event for kids of all ages at the Riverwalk Center in Breckenridge. Trucks and other vehicles will be on display to admire, sit in or climb on! First 200 kids get a free toy construction helmet.

Stephen C. West Ice Arena Spring Closure
The Stephen C. West Ice Arena in Breckenridge will be closed May 11 to June 14 for roof work due to winter ice and snow damage. The entire facility will be closed during this five-week period. However, the front desk will remain open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm, to answer questions and take program registrations for the summer. As a benefit for guests, drop-in floor hockey will be offered on the outdoor rink during regular business hours, Monday - Friday. Also, Ice Arena one-month, six-month and one-year pass holders will have the added benefit of using the Breckenridge Recreation Center to keep up their fitness during this time. Other major facility improvement projects also will take place during the Ice Arena closure, including the replacement of the lobby floor, new ice on the indoor rink, glass cleaning, and general cleaning of the facility. 150 Days of Discounts Join the Breckenridge Recreation Department to honor Breckenridge's 150th Anniversary with 150 Days of Discounts this spring. Each of the Recreation Department facilities, the Breckenridge Recreation Center, the Gold Run Nordic Center and the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, will offer discount wheels for customers to spin for up to 18% off, or a free day pass. One spin per visit, adults only, other restrictions apply. 150 Days of Discounts ends June 14.
