Breckenridge Ski Resort’s Mid Season Snow Stats are Stacking up ... Over 25 feet

Breckenridge, Colo – February 8, 2011- With this morning’s 10 inches of fresh show blanketing the slopes of Breckenridge Ski Resort, the mid-season snow totals have passed the 25 foot mark (the traditional season average) in about half the time it takes to get there… and two of the snowiest months are still ahead.

With that in mind, here are a few fun, mid-season stats:

-Settled Base: 90 inches or 141% of average
-Snowfall month-to-date: 32 inches or 161% of average
-Snowfall season-to-date: 329 inches
-Powder days of 10+ inches: 10 (yearly average is 7)
-Powder days of 20+ inches: 2
-Days left in the season: 74 days
-Closing Day: April 24th
